A tool can solve one recurring annoyance for three people and still justify its existence.
Software culture has a habit of treating usefulness as evidence that something should grow. Add accounts. Add collaboration. Add a dashboard. Find a larger market. The small, legible thing slowly becomes infrastructure that someone has to operate.
I want to get better at recognizing the natural size of an idea. Sometimes the honest finish line is a script, a page, or a tiny application that keeps doing one job without asking for attention.
That is not a failure of ambition. It may be a more precise form of it.
